My pathway to UX/UI Design started when I was writing learning exercises for Duolingo. After writing content for several courses, I had the opportunity to write content for a project that overlapped with the UX team’s work. The experience opened my eyes to the diverse role UX Designers play in creating viable products. I was intrigued by the connection between my skills and this dynamic field. After that, I jumped into UX with both feet.

In addition to my UX Design and Writing experience, I’m also a published author. My business English training book,「ジャスティン先生が教える英語ネイティブたちのビジネス英会話」(Justin Sensei Teaches Native Business English Conversation) is available in bookstores across Japan and online.

I’m a communicator at heart. I’m a native English speaker, but I can also speak Mandarin Chinese and Japanese. Currently, I’m learning French.
